 CITY OF GDANSK

A thousand-year history, a location at the crossroads of important commercial and communication routes, an extensive port and mercantile traditions makes Gdańsk a meeting place of many cultures, nationalities and denominations.

  AREA OF INTERVENTION

Location: Wrzeszcz/Zaspa District

First impressions: Area of intervention consist of allotment gardens with huge greenery not used for public purposes with its fruit trees.Which seems more interesting in the site is the surrounding area with a big scale structure (stadium), industrial district and investments nearby.












ANALYSIS:

FIRST IDEAS ABOUT THE DESIGN

 VISION/INSPIRATIONS

 There is a train station nearby the stadium but it is open only for the match days. Hence,we want to use it as a public transportation stop to make the area well-connected to from the city. To show our understanding of connection,  this college was distorted the image from google earth.

In Wrzeszcz/Zaspa District, there is a huge area of greenery without public purpose so the area is not frequently visited. We re planing to design greenery mixed with housing and roads instead of huge useless spaces.
